06 Dec XXXIX gatering report & the invitation to Charity Event
Dear Members and Friends of the Polish Business Club in Jakarta.
First of all I would like to thank all of you who joined us at Eastern Promise on the 7th of December. Although the number of our guests was small due to other associations’ gatherings and the Jazz concert performed by a Polish-Indonesian Band scheduled for that night, the atmosphere was great as usual.
I would like to personally thank our friend Sunil of Society Wines, for donating 2 bottles of wine for the Christmas Lucky Draw, Lens – the Manager of EP, for giving us discounts for beer, and also thank his staff, for preparing and serving us with professionalism.
During that gathering we welcomed an offer from our other friend, Mr. Big’s the Cajun Cooking Specialist, services in supplying pork, turkey, crayfish delicacies for Christmas and New Year festivities – but not only. Those of you who would like to try his unique and delicious product, just contact him at:email@example.com or 08111631739.
To give you a closer look at their activity, last year almost 14 0,000 volunteers and the Polish communities in over 20 countries (including Indonesia for the first time) took part in the fundraising. Have a look at their story/history (in English):
It is a great short introduction of the WOŚP from which you can also learn, that they have been nominated in 2017 for the PEACE NOBEL PRIZE.
We, as a Club, where also a part of their Hashtag action. Unfortunately, they haven’t gotten it, but our Club still will support them with our full strength. We are organizing the Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in Bali this time.
On this occasion, I would like to invite all the Members and Friends of the Polish Business Club in Jakarta, to our next and the most important event in 2018 – to join us on the 13th of January at the Vila Shanti Hotel restaurant in Sanur-Bali www.vilashantihotel.com at 17:00.
Considering this Event as a 100% charity, the entrance fee will be 300,000/pax, for which we will provide only a buffet meal with some soft drinks. The reasonable corkage fee will be implemented for your own alcohol (wine, vodka, etc.) and the beer we will be selling at 40K per glass.
As the main attraction we will provide: live auction silent auction, Balinese children dancers, fireworks and………… many more attractions. We all know that Bali is suffering economically recently because of the Gunung Agung activity. Regular tourists are afraid to come to the Island of Gods because of that.
We as a Club would like to support the Balinese people, once by being there and spending some money, and also donating 50% of our charity action earnings, to the Balinese children affected by ( if is going to happen before our event ) the eruption of the Gunung Agung Volcano.
If you have any questions regarding this event, you can contact me directly at:firstname.lastname@example.org or 0816700053
So, since not many days are left before some of us celebrate Christmas and the New Year, I would like to wish you all the best for this year’s holidays.
